REE CREATIVE LEAVE POLICY
We believe in the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance and understand that life sometimes calls for time away from work. That's why we offer various types of leave to support you in managing your personal and family obligations.
Here's an overview of the leave options available to you:
At Ree, all employees are entitled to enjoy a well-deserved break with 4 weeks of paid annual leave. This leave accrues gradually throughout the year, so you can plan your time off as needed. To make sure everything runs smoothly, we kindly ask that you notify Maria at least four weeks in advance before taking your annual leave. If the trip is more than 2 weeks we kindly ask that you provide as much notice as possible. At least 2-3 months in advance is highly appreciated.
We understand that sometimes you might need additional time off that goes beyond your accrued leave. You have the option to request unpaid leave and it will be considered in the same way as normal annual leave. Please note that, similar to annual leave, Ree may need to consider operational requirements when approving unpaid leave requests and it has the right to decline such requests.
Your health is important to us. If you're too sick to work in the office or have a medical emergency that requires you to take time off, you can take advantage of our sick leave policy or you may opt for a work from home day if approved by Ree. You can use up to 10 sick leave days per year. If you need more than two consecutive sick days or have exceeded your 10-day limit, you will need to provide a medical certificate and email to email@example.com. Don't forget to inform Maria as soon as possible when you need to take sick leave.
To request any type of leave, simply fill in our designated leave application process and submit your request to Maria in advance. Please note that Ree may need to consider operational requirements when approving leave requests, but we always aim to process your leave accurately and promptly. Please allow up to 7 business days to be approved.
We want to maintain a positive and respectful work environment for everyone. Please remember that any misuse or abuse of leave may lead to disciplinary action.
