These Terms and Conditions define the obligations and relationship between Ree Creative and the person/s or Company specified in the quotation (the client). By confirming and making payment you have accepted all terms and conditions by Ree Creative.

MARKETING & PROPERTY RIGHTS
Ree Creative reserves the right to use images or videos of all designs and prints for marketing purposes including Social Media, Website and all aspects of Advertising. Ree Creative holds and retains complete ntellectual property rights of design whether complete or incomplete. Ree Creative will accept no responsibility for copyright issues regarding supplied artwork, images and copy. The client is responsible for supplying content and ideas free from infringement for all trademarks, service marks, and copyright.
SUPPLIED ARTWORK, IMAGES & COPY
All artwork, images and copy supplied by the client, will be assumed to include the relevant authority for use. Ree Creative will accept no responsibility for copyright issues regarding supplied artwork, images and copy. The client is responsible for supplying content and ideas free from infringement for all trademarks, service marks, and copyright.
PROCESS WEB DESIGN ORDER
Ree Creative will only proceed upon written confirmation of the design quotation and the design deposit. Final payment will be due when the website is complete and before the website is live. Approval and payment of the quotation made by the invoice attached will constitute an agreement between Ree Creative and the client.
WEB DESIGN FEE
Web Designs are quoted based on design fees only. Quotes do not include costs of annual fees to host site (Shopify/Wix) or additional add on systems such as booking systems, social media feed attachments and more. Fees quoted only for professional services do not include purchases of stock photos, fonts, artwork, products, printing, colour- matching or extra add ons etc. Additional expenses will be notified to the customer before action is taken.
PAYMENTS & REFUNDS
Design fees are to be paid in two seperate payments. A non-refundable deposit is needed before work commences and to secure the timeline and a final fee will be due at the request of Ree Creative, before the website goes live. Under no circumstances does Ree Creative offer refunds on the deposit payments due to the digital nature of the product and service. If the client wishes to cancel their order after deposit payment, the deposit will be lost. This deposit may not be redeemed at a later date to re-start the site. Full design fee will be requested to start a new project.
HOLDING AND CANCELLATIONS & PAYMENT DELAYS
Once design has commenced and deposit has been received, no cancellations or holding is permitted. Time limit for projects are to be completed within 1-3 months / 12 working weeks of your deposit (Unless discussed and agreed with written approval stating otherwise between business/client and designer) Your web design project will expire if you do not take action within these 12 weeks and you will still strictly be required to pay the final payment plus all late fees acquired. Please note you will be charged $200 per week that the project is delayed following the 12 week mark from date of deposit. Third party action will be taken if needed.
Time frames are to be discussed with the client personally, but typically range from 4-6 weeks depending on content required to complete the website such as imagery and copywriting final drafts. Rush fees may be necessary for some projects to ensure that your website is finished and live in time for specific deadlines. (Needing a website in under 3 weeks) POA.
WEB DESIGN DRAFTS & PROCESS UPDATES
All web design drafts and previews will be shown to the client via a preview link or through the log in of the website where everything is able to be accessed.
Hosting is essential for allowing your website to be viewed on the world wide web via a domain name. We build our websites via either Wix or Shopify so your website will be hosted by one of these providers when we go live. Hosting is an ongoing cost for the lifetime of your website. Both providers offer a monthly or yearly plan so you can choose what suits you best. These payments are between yourself and the host provider. Ree Creative has no responsibility between the website and host provider once design has been completed.
For your own business domain name (eg. www.reecreative.com) you will either need to purchase + register this for us to connect to your website or we can purchase this through your business website during the design process. Please discuss further with your designer about the best way to purchase your domain name. Domain emails are available with all domain names handled by Ree Creative. Please enquire directly
ADDITIONAL WORK AND UPDATES
Further work once the website has gone live including updates will need to be purchased additionally unless agreed otherwise between the client and Ree Creative.
All websites include ongoing email support during the design process. Although logins can be accessed by the business owner, in order to maintain the quality of your website we highly recommend not going in and editing any elements of the website yourself. Whilst every care will be taken, no responsibility will be accepted by Ree Creative for errors found after final approval by the client (Spelling mistakes, misalignment, payment errors, shipping errors etc). These errors that need to be fixed will count towards your minor fix ups or may have additional charges.
ERRORS & ACCURACY
It is the client’s responsibility to check all proofs carefully for accuracy. The client’s e-mail of approval is acknowledgement that the proof has been evaluated and considered correct in every aspect. There will be no remedy from Ree Creative for errors or omissions carried over from approved proof of website going live.
Web Designs include 3x complimentary minor updates within one year of going live. Ree Creative will determine how ‘minor’ the update is and will provide you with the solution. Some add on fees may apply for bigger updates. Some minor updates may include addition of a paragraph, addition of a staff member information, changing a phone number, changing the front image banner, misalignment mistakes, spelling mistakes not picked up by client after approval etc. Updates that may include extra costs include adding pages, redoing template or flow of pages, adding products, services etc. Updating the designs are the client’s responsibility after the website goes live and will come at the client’s own cost.
